Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park
- Allensworth is the only California town to be founded, financed, and governed by African Americans.
- The small farming community was founded in 1908 and is now a historic park.

Sequoia National Park
- Exhibits on Yokuts Indians at the Foothills Visitor Center
- Native American village site and rock art site at Hospital Rock; interpretive information is available
- Visitors Center open in summer from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in fall and spring from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Tulare County Museum
- Features the second largest collection of Yokuts artifacts in California, plus artifacts from nineteenth century settlers
- Location: 27000 South Mooney Boulevard in Visalia
- Open Thursday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
