*Students are not required to be current members of the SCA.

Join the Society for California Archaeology as we gather at Sonoma State University for the 2024 Northern Data Sharing Meeting. 

The meeting will be an informal event with a relaxed and supportive atmosphere—perfect for students to practice presenting as well as an opportunity to meet and talk with professionals in California Archaeology in a fun and casual setting.  Students are not required to be current SCA members.     

The meeting will begin around 10am on Saturday, October 19th, and end in the late afternoon/early evening. 

So come and present your current research, meet fellow students and professionals in the field of California Archaeology, share some tasty food (lunch is included) at the 2024 Northern Data Sharing Meeting! 

WHEN: Saturday, October 19, 2024

WHERE: Sonoma State University, Stevenson Hall,  1801 East Cotati Ave.  Rohnert Park, CA 94928

SCHEDULE: 

Data Sharing Meeting

9:00 am: Morning coffee, nosh, meet and greet.
10:00 am: Paper presentations.
12:30 pm: Lunch break. Catered lunch will be provided.

1:30 pm: Afternoon paper presentations

ASC 50th Anniversary Celebration

3:00 pm: Reflections and cake!

PLEASE NOTE: You can come and celebrate the Anthropological Studies Center’s 50th anniversary without participating in the SCA's Data Sharing. Please RSVP so ASC knows how many to expect.

ACCOMMODATIONS: We are working on securing camping near Sonoma State. If you are interested in a campsite, please email Justin at wisely@pacificlegacy.com

PARKING: Sonoma State University has all day parking available for $6 per vehicle. Carpools are encouraged.
